After being extremely good at past visits, hand-picked my son Fisher-Price Imaginext Sky Racers Twister Jet as his prize. Even if the toy does not look like much at first, it proved to be a perfect choice for my little son.
Jet is equipped with a trigger on the story that allows a child to turn off the wings and cockpit of JET in a complete 360 degree turn. It also has retractable landing gear, which is thick enough for little hands to push them in and out for quick starts and stops. The cockpit opens and lets the kids put tight pilot with or without his helmet inside. The cockpit fits tightly, and we have yet to experience any unexpected "expulsions" of the pilot while the jet is "air" or "dogfights" with other jets. There are two saw blades hidden in its wings that can be switched in and out while the child plays so well.
Unpacking jet pilot and his helmet out of the box was easy, which is a plus in my book. With a few simple clips, it was the jet-free and ready to take flight.
This toy is very robust and has a lot of punishment from my son already. It was removed and discarded with no visible damage at all.
This toy has also brought my son's imagination. He has had many adventures with this jet, and each may be more dangerous than the last.
Overall, I highly recommend this toy to anyone with a young pilot in their midst. The spores imaginative play and can take a beating from the harshest Tikes.
